Expand your customer base - install funded heat pumps!
Do you have potential customers who'd love to switch to renewable energy but can't afford it? Now there's a way to install a heat pump at a much lower cost.
Evergreen Energy is an Ofgem Approved Investor under the RHI Assignment of Rights scheme. This means we can fully or partially fund heat pumps for your customers, claiming the cost back through the RHI payments.
If you'd like to offer this funding to your customers you can register as an Evergreen Energy Approved Installer using the form below.
Register as an Evergreen Energy Approved Installer
To become an Evergreen Energy Approved Installer simply register your interest using this form. A member of the team will be in touch to talk through next steps and answer any questions you might have.
You can also take a look at our installer guide and FAQ section below for more information.
The installer prices up the job in the same way as any other project excluding the supply of the heat pump and cylinder. We will then create a proposal for the supply and installation of the complete system. We pride ourselves in supporting quality installations and therefore do not put a cap on labour rates.
How much funding will the installation receive?
Each installation is viewed on its own merit and the funding is calculated based on the proposed Renewable Heat Incentive income.
What is the customer contribution?
The customer contributes the difference between the proposed funding amount and the cost associated to the supply and installation of the system. The installation fee will vary depending on the manufacturer.
Can you provide an estimate of the total funding amount and customer contribution?
Yes - we have developed a funding calculator which provides an estimate of the costs, customer contribution and savings.
How long will it take for the installation costs to be paid?
We aim to pay the installation costs within seven days of the installation being approved under MCS. However, for this to happen the installer is required to have completed all relevant paperwork for the system.
Who enters into the contract with the customer?
As the assigned Ofgem Approved Investor we will enter into an MCS and Assignment of Rights contract with the customer. This contract will include the installer’s labour quote and proposed system specification.
Who arranges the installation?
The installer and their customer will agree timescales, which will then be added to the contractual agreement. It is the installer's responsibility to then advise us when they require equipment to be on site*.
*Please allow sufficient lead times for delivery.
What is Evergreen Energy’s involvement in each project?
As the assigned Ofgem Approved Investor, we take full responsibility for the system design, specification and installation. We supply the main system components directly to the customer and include the installers proposed costs within our proposal. In addition, we complete all relevant paperwork e.g. required MCS documentation and consumer code contractual agreements.
