Renewable Energy Systems by Evergreen Energy
“Performance is dictated by the design, integration and technology – not the price tag.”
That’s why we we offer an unreserved turnkey solution for designing, specifying, supplying and commissioning your bespoke renewable energy system. We work with homeowners, contractors, architects and self builders to craft these energy systems nationwide.
What are Renewable Energy Systems?
A Renewable Energy System typically consists of one or more microgeneration technologies (devices that use naturally-occurring energy) and an energy-efficient system to enhance its productivity. We design renewable energy systems based on the customer’s specifications using any number of these microgeneration technologies and energy efficiency systems. These include but aren’t limited to heat pumps, solar PV, solar thermal, energy-efficient radiators and underfloor heating.
The first step is to establish what your intended project looks like. You’ll receive expert advice on the latest renewable technologies that naturally lend themselves to your property. Your Technical Account Manager will require your architectural plans and as much detail as you can give to create a personalised design model.
If you’re planning a retrofit or you don’t have any architectural plans, one of our Regional Engineers will complete an on-site Feasibility Report at your property. This is to ensure that the property is suitable for the intended install.
Once we have a clear understanding of your preferences and requirements, we can start to bring your project to life. Every detail gets entered into our own in-house design calculation software, Evergreen Energy Installer Toolkit. This software has seen some 21,000 projects completed over the past 4 years, in which time we’ve been carefully refining the system design to ensure maximum efficiency for your home.
Next, our team of experienced mechanical engineers will build the mechanical and electrical requirements of your integrated energy system. You will then receive a detailed proposal broken down into key milestones that align with your build process.
Once the particulars have been agreed, your dedicated Regional Engineer will be assigned to your project and begin planning the installation, supporting your on-site team to ensure that the process goes ahead on time. The Regional Engineer will coordinate the delivery milestones with the on-site team and your Technical Account Manager. This is to ensure the materials are kept safely and securely until such a time when they’re ready to be installed.
Every milestone is checked and accounted for to ensure that it’s in accordance with the design. If you have an installer in mind that you’d like to use, we’re happy to support them. In fact, we actively encourage the use of your own local tradesmen – the more installers we can educate on how these systems work, the more efficient their own installs will be. Alternatively, we have a national network of installers to use who are familiar with our process and technology.
Once everything is in place, our engineer will commission the renewable energy system. This ensures the system is performing in accordance with the design and optimum levels of efficiency are achieved. After which, they will begin the handover process, taking you through every aspect of the system and how the controls are configured.
Renewables without the risk
Where other companies may draw the line at guaranteeing different areas of the design or install, we are 100% responsible for the project as a whole.
“No two projects are the same.”
We work on this principle to create custom-made system designs that are true to the homeowner’s wants and needs. We also seek to balance performance, comfort and cost.
All our systems are designed, supplied and commissioned in accordance with MCS. We only use MCS-certified products to ensure homeowners are eligible for both the Renewable Heat Incentive and the Feed-in Tariff.
“The onus is on us now to ensure that every element of your system is carefully considered, supplied, and integrated as effectively as possible.”
We wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for our happy customers, which is why we take customer satisfaction very seriously. Clear communication with yourselves is key to a smooth operation and our team will be on hand before during and after the install to assist in answering any questions you may have.
